Prince William opts out of festivities with Harry and Meghan

According to a UK magazine OK Magazine, Prince William, King Charles' eldest son, warned that he will not be attending the Christmas festivities in the presence of Harry and Meghan Markle. The British magazine states that William remains affected by the recent disagreements with his brother Harry and his wife Meghan Markle.

According to the news, the prince revealed that he and his family will not participate in the traditional Windsor celebration after learning that Harry, his brother, contacted his father, King Charles.

William sees Harry's contact with King Charles as provocation

This action was seen by William as an outrageous way of getting closer to the royal family, since their relations were seriously shaken.

Harry and William have had a troubled relationship for many years. However, in an interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex further complicated the relationship by revealing information that the royals were concerned about the skin tone that the baby they were expecting might have. The information had a major negative impact on the public's view of the royal family.

This statement was followed by comments and allegations that William and his father Charles were “trapped” in the British royal family.

Advisors do not comment on William's decision

So far, the royal family's advisors have not commented on what happened. Furthermore, nothing was exposed about William's possible discomfort with the closeness between his father, King Charles, and his brother, Harry.
