PSG draw in a friendly against Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr: Neymar is on reserve

This Tuesday (25), the Paris Saint-Germain played a friendly preparation for the 2023/2024 season against Al-Nassrfrom Saudi Arabia, team of the Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo. The game was held at Nagai Stadium in Osaka, Japan. This was the first in a series of friendlies for PSG on the Asian continent. The two teams tied scoreless.

The French team, during the first half, played better and finished more. In total, PSG had the most possession of the ball. In all, it was 64% for the French against 36% for the Arabs. In the second half, the coaches made several substitutions, and even with the changes, the Parisians remained dominant. Cristiano Ronaldo even created a good chance, stopping at the opponent’s goal, but that wasn’t enough for the match not to end 0-0.

Neymar all the time on reserve

Afterwards, the team travels to South Korea, where it will play its last friendly on Asian soil against Jeonbuk Hyundai, on the 3rd of August. The premiere at French Championship it will be on the 13th of August, at home, against Lorient-Bretagne Sud.
