Rafael comments on comparisons with Rogério Ceni

Rafaelgoalkeeper of São Paulowas sincere about Rogerio Ceni. The Tricolor athlete commented on the comparisons made with the club's idol, who currently leads Bahia. The number 23 has held the position since arriving at the club, when the coach was still leading Soberano.

“No one will replace Rogério Ceni. What he was for football and is for football, he will always be. Everyone has their own football story. No one is going to come here and try to repeat what he did.”, highlighted Rafael. He was the first São Paulo goalkeeper called up to defend the Brazilian team since Ceni himself.

“The club is going through different times, with different players. I really want to do my best, build my project and for me it will be surreal to be another person who contributed to the history of São Paulo as he and so many others did in a great way. Ceni, Zetti, Valdir Peresthese goalkeepers are irreplaceable”he completed.
