Saviorless: The First Cuban Indie Game Arrives on PC, PS5 and Switch

After seven years of development marked by challenges, the project Saviorlessa pioneering initiative in the gaming sector indie Cuban, is scheduled to be released in April 2ndavailable to PRAÇA, PlayStation 5 It is Nintendo Switch. This platform adventure game, the first of its kind produced in Cubacombines elements of dark fantasy with vibrant, hand-drawn art. Players will have the opportunity to switch between three main characters, each with different abilities, to explore a world full of dangers and mysteries.

The game is the result of collaboration between the French publisher Dear Villagers and the Cuban independent studio Empty Head Gamesfounded by Josuhe Pagliery and Johann Armenteros in 2016. Facing significant social and technological barriers, including frequent power outages, lack of technical resources and limited internet access, the team was supported by Innovators Foundation and a crowdfunding campaign in IndieGogo to move your project forward.

Over the years, the development of Saviorless It was marked by periods of experimentation, legal and financial challenges, as well as determination to overcome the adversities faced. Collaboration with the Digital Pluginanother French publisher, proved crucial in overcoming social and political obstacles, allowing the team to continue working on their ambitious project.

Saviorless presents a complex narrative centered on three characters: Antara curious child; Savior, his masked avatar; It is Nento, a determined hunter. The game explores themes of control and power, allowing players to experience each character's perspectives in a story where opposing forces fight for dominance. With challenging scenarios, confrontations with monstrous creatures and an immersive soundtrack, Saviorless promises to offer a unique gaming experience, enhanced by its artistic aesthetics and innovative gameplay mechanics.
