Last Thursday (20), a truck carrying the new Vasco da Gama shirts was stolen on Avenida Brasil, in Rio de Janeiro. According to information previously released by the gethere shouldn’t be any immediate damage and the shirts should already be replaced in Vasco’s stores next week.

The stolen shirts are already being sold at Complexo da Maré
The truck was stolen on Avenida Brasil, near the entrance to Complexo da Maré, in Rio de Janeiro. Still according to gethe Military Police and the Civil Police said that there was no robbery and that no records of the event were found.
On social media, some images showing the sale of stolen shirts are being released. According to local residents, the uniforms were taken to the Nova Holanda favela, in Complexo da Maré. The shirts are being sold for much lower prices than Vasco and Kappa, supplier of the club’s sports equipment, sell: while the short-sleeved shirt costs 300 reais on the official website of cruzmaltino, the shirt is being sold for 150 reais in Nova Holanda. The same happens with the long-sleeved shirt, which costs 320 reais on the Vasco website and in Nova Holanda costs 180 reais.

Vasco’s new shirt and the next Cruzmaltino game
The new shirt was launched by Vasco last Wednesday (19). The shirt is black, has the classic white diagonal stripe and has the phrase “Que Honra Ser” on the nape of the neck. The debut of Cruzmaltino with his new shirt will be in the game against Athletico Paranaense, next Sunday (23), in a match valid for the Brazilian Championship.
