SPFW 55: see some highlights of the autumn/winter 2024 edition

This week the event of fashion most popular in the country, the São Paulo Fashion week. The parade brings relevant artists, new artists and trends. the edition autumn winter 2024 started on Monday (24) and runs until Sunday (28). Meninos Rei is a brand from Bahia, signed by the brothers Junior and Céu Rocha. In the collection, in addition to bringing empowerment, they blended with the pop culture and ancestry.

Gathering all adhered elements, the line takes the name of ancestral pop. Well, it brings reference to the past with the afrotourism. On the catwalk there were many colors, geometries, light fabrics. The pieces have asymmetric cutouts and modern tailoring. One of the highlights was the parade, which included several disabled and older people. The makeup, a white eyeliner, adhered very well to the collection’s proposal.

Igor Dadona celebrates 10 years at SPFW since its debut. This year, he brought the collection Colossus. Tailored clothes, male contemporary style and brought the participation of Swarovski. The pieces were adorned using the object and gave a lot of shine and sophistication to the collection. In makeup: moderate shades of glitter and lip gloss. The collection brought many coats, shirts and vests in leather and wool, he brought floral prints and heavy fabrics. The low-rise tailored trousers were inspired by the 19th and 20th century, in the French monarchy.

the stylist Isa Isaac Silva, decided to leave SPFW and go to the streets, she made her presentation in the center of São Paulo, in occupation 9 de Julho. The collection, called axé bathis inspired by the music of luedji Luna, Bath of Leaves, and I brought a lot of cropped, capes and light and loose pants. Vibrant colors and a lot of reference to the axe music of the 1980s.
