What was it like to miss this character so dear to the public? Were you able to kill the longing for the team and SBT too?
Lilian Blanc: “It was very good to miss you, for me, I was always on SBT. It’s a home for me, I really feel at home. I thought the idea of ​​linking the two telenovelas and bringing Dona Branca to participate was great. It promises a lot of laughs to the audience. And coming back to SBT, being with the whole team, is always a joy. I didn’t know this new cast, but it was a lot of fun.”

Branca is an iconic figure. She’s radical, speaks her mind and still has a tight-knit way of grumbling. But at the same time, she doesn’t give up on those she loves and loves to take care of them. How did Dona Branca transform Lilian Blanc?
Lilian Blanc: “In the scenes I played that troublesome, boring Dona Branca, my husband always joked with me: ‘You don’t have any difficulty playing the annoying one, do you?’, because we’ve been married for 50 years and after all with the other, then, we repeat things, talk again and it’s just that relationship that Dona Branca had with Antônio. Whenever we create a character, the person, in this case I, Lilian, is always present, of course we create a lot of things, but others come from our own experience, it’s the years of experience that help us a lot in the interpretation part .”

Any dreams about to come true in the next chapters of life?
Lilian Blanc: “We always have dreams, right? To do a good job, to be with good people, to work as far as we can talk, because that’s our great advantage of our work as an actor and actress is being able to always have work. There will always be an aunt, a grandmother, a witch, a gossip, a neighbor, there is always work. So, this is my dream, to always have a job.”
