The New Era Begins with Never Ending Song

A new Era is beginning! Conan Gray officially announced this Friday (12), through a teaser on his social networks, the release of the first single after the debut of his second studio album, “Superache”, in June 2022. Titled “Never Ending Song”, the track will be released on May 19th, next Friday, at 1am Brasília time. The song marks the beginning of the new era for the 24-year-old American artist.

The teaser, which announced the name of the track, is 12 seconds long. In it, Conan enters a supermarket dressed in a black jacket with yellow details, headphones and sunglasses. Not coincidentally, the cashier at the establishment is called Heather, the name of the character in her biggest hit, the hit of the same name. The girl is apparently pregnant in the teaser. In the second scene of the short video, the speakers sound, the lights flash until they go out and Gray dances.

Rumors of a new phase began to spread on social media on the 5th, with publications from Republic Records and Universal Music, in addition to the creation of a website: . In the last one, when accessing and registering, users receive an audio with the singer's voice. In the Republic publication, there is a poster glued to a post with the phrase “Conan needs your help working the night shift.”, both already with the Era's visual identity, in yellow and black, with a kind of drop that has a star inside, as the adopted symbol. After that, Gray changed his profile photos on social networks, YouTube and Spotify.

There is still no information about the release or even the name of the future album, however, publicity is massive in various places around the world, including some cities in Brazil. In São Paulo, Universal Music together with the Image and Sound Museum are distributing posters, just come and ask at the cafeteria. The promotion of Food Heaven can also be seen in the Center, South and West areas of Rio de Janeiro.
