With the game in progress, Valencia emerged victorious by the score of 1 to 0 and in the 24th minute of the match, the fans of the home team threw a ball, disturbing the Brazilian striker who, when complaining, noticed at the first moment some already calling him “monkey” and in additions, Vini Jr. who was harassed left the field expelled by refereeing after a discussion with the opponent.

According to the player in a publication made on the instagram story, what has been happening is not football, but the La Liga, with reference to the slogan used by the head of the Spanish championship in her publicity work. He believes that it will not be the first nor the last time that this type of attitude will happen, but as long as the event organizer takes appropriate measures, this will be endless.

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti came out in defense of Vini Jr. saying that “Nothing happens” referring to the acts suffered by the player without taking action and also stated that the Brazilian, even after being offended, chose to stay on the field. Goalkeeper Courtois also positioned himself and said that if a teammate wanted to leave, he would go along.

In the history of football in the past, similar things happened and the fight against prejudice it has always been, a very evident example that was marked by this fight is the Clube de Regatas Vasco da Gama that stopped playing a tournament because it did not accept the exclusion of its cast composed of blacks and workers. The following year he was accepted after a lot of pressure from the organizing League at the time and managed to win the title, but unfortunately history was forgotten by a number of people who know how to criticize and make light of a team that started this war against racism.

Unfortunately, another episode is repeated within our football and it’s not just in Spain, but everywhere in the world and there are also reports here in Brazil. As long as there are no harsh punishments for those who practice acts of racial prejudice, this will not come to an end.
