Without paying bail, Daniel Alves will remain in prison until Monday

The former player's defense did not pay the amount of 1 million reais in bail, for the player's conditional release, even after the court agreed to extend the deadline for payment, at the defense's request.

Rumors also arose that Neymar's family would pay bail for Dani Alves, but Neymar's father said through his social networks that he will not pay bail for the former player: “As everyone knows, at first, I helped Dani Alves, without any connection to any process. In this second moment, in a situation different from the previous one, in which the Spanish justice system has already decided on the conviction, they are speculating and trying to associate my name and that of my son with a matter that today is no longer our responsibility. What happened

After Dani Alves' conviction for rape in February, his defense decided to appeal the sentence and also requested that the player remain free for the final deliberation. The court accepted the request but ordered that the player's passports, both Brazilian and Spanish, be confiscated.

Furthermore, he will be obliged to maintain a distance of 1km from the victim's home, the place where he works and any other place he frequents; he will not be able to communicate with her by any means whatsoever; he cannot leave Spain and must appear in court whenever called.

In addition to Daniel being arrested, his mother is also being sued for publishing alleged images of the victim without authorization.
