Blue twitter check mark – It is currently not possible to take out a Blue subscription to get a blue check mark on your profile. Due to the many impersonation accounts registered in recent days, subscription sales have been halted,The Washington Post reports.

Previously, a blue check mark meant that the Twitter profile really belongs to the person or company for which the account is. Earlier this week, paying users also received a blue check mark. As a result, real accounts and imitation profiles were almost indistinguishable from each other.

Many people have set up an imitation accounting protest and made a payment to get a blue check mark. For example, there was a fake account for Nintendo in the United States. In the profile picture, Mario, an iconic Nintendo character, raised his middle finger.

Over the past few days, Twitter has been playing cat-and-mouse game with people opening impersonation accounts. Now Twitter has decided to suspend the sale of Twitter Blue subscriptions, which give a profile a blue check mark.

Twitter introduced a grey check mark earlier this week to make official accounts more recognizable. A day later, the gray check mark disappeared again, only to return today.
