Claudia Leitte is confirmed to be present at “Farofa da Gkay”

Cláudia Leitte was confirmed this Tuesday (28) as one of the attractions of “Farofa da Gkay”, which will take place between December 4th and 6th, in Fortaleza.

The annual party will feature several musical attractions in celebration of the birthday of the host, Géssica Kayane, better known as Gkay. In addition to Cláudia Leitte, the following artists have already been confirmed: Leo Santana, Wesley Safadão, Pedro Sampaio, Kevin O Chris, Manu Bahtidão, É O Tchan, Xand Avião, MC Ryan SP and MC Daniel, Felipe Amorim and Vintage Culture.

Cláudia Leitte will present the show of her latest album, entitled “Realverse“, released this year, with tracks in partnership with the Bahian singer Ivete Sangalo, Saulo and Mari Fernandez. At the time of its release, Claudinha defined the album as experimental and declared: “When listening to each track on Side A, people will feel that it has a different texture, a new timbre.”

Farofa Root

Influencer Gkay declared that this year her party is going back to its roots, according to her: “It will be based on my first parties, with elements that only those who are true to their roots will understand.“. Another revelation was that, on its first day, the event will last 12 hours.

The party is only for guests from the artistic world. However, Gkay revealed on his Instagram that some of his team's raffles and promotions may include fans in the competitive attendance list: “The party is made and planned entirely by me, down to the smallest detail. I look at the attractions, call the singers, make the guest list and then my wonderful team comes in to execute.”

No Dark Room

Another new feature is that this time, the event will not feature the controversial Dark Room from previous years. This space at the party was reserved for guests to feel more comfortable and interact in a more intimate way, without the presence of cell phones, for example. Gkay revealed that another space will be set up in place of the Dark Room, but did not give any further details about the new interactive space.

In recent editions, the “Gkay's Farofa” generated some controversy. In 2021, Viih Tube was one of the most talked about topics on X (formerly Twitter) for having kissed several guests during the party. In 2022, it was the turn of Éder Militão's ex, Karoline Lima, who won the award for biggest kisser at the event.
