Anderson Leonardoof Squishy, surprised by revealing that, after five months of celebrating overcoming cancer, he needed to restart treatment against this relentless disease. The lead singer of the renowned pagode group had been diagnosed with inguinal cancer, located in the groin region, in October last year, and announced his victory over the disease in January. However, unfortunately, the testicles have now been affected by the disease.
During the podcast Rocinha Castthe singer shared his experiences regarding swelling in the intimate area – which has attracted a lot of attention – and spoke about the discomfort it has caused. “When I saw that it was swelling again, I noticed that it was swelling in another area. It's very swollen. It's f*cking difficult to put on clothes, very complicated. The other day I went to play and saw that a couple was looking at me. I wanted to go in in a hole. The couple left, I felt like it was commented on, you know?”said.
During a recent performance, the singer faced an embarrassing situation involving a fan who commented on the amount of swelling in his groin, even questioning whether he was having an erection. He shared his concerns: “I kept trying to pull up the shirt. But now I'm wearing a longer shirt. I started to get worried about it. I got to the dressing room and started crying. It's f*cking me.”

Then, Anderson spoke about the current moment and the uniqueness of the disease. He is preparing for a new phase, but he is doing well. His cancer is rare and he has managed to control it so far. However, there is always the possibility that it could spread to another part of the body. This week has been quite challenging for the singer, but he has already spoken with the group members and is determined to face this situation.
Anderson shared that he has been inspired by people close to him who have overcome the disease. Additionally, he has found comfort in music and the gym to help improve his emotional state. He mentioned that there are days when he feels a little tired and even when he goes to the gym, he may not be able to complete the full workout. However, he believes it's better to stay busy, playing music and exercising, than sitting still.
Finally, the singer detailed the treatment he will follow from now on, he will do a puncture and control it with chemotherapy, but no longer with radio.
