Anitta responds to criticism from internet users live on Instagram

Since the release of his last single“FunkRave”, Anita has suffered harsh criticism from internet users. Last Tuesday (27), the 30-year-old singer spoke about the subject live with followers of Anitta HQan Instagram account focused on interactions between the artist and her Brazilian fans.

The statement began after Anitta read comments sent during the broadcast. “Every time we bomb with something, do something really cool or get noticed, it's automatic for people to do it. [criticar]. We know that my name generates a lot of engagement. We know that using my name on the internet, nowadays, [dá engajamento]”, he stated.

She assured that she did not want to send any hints to anyone, she just needed to speak out in the face of recent buzz: “I'm not shading anyone, it's because fans were complaining that some brands were using my name to engage“, continued.

Afterwards, the Rio native also mentioned the comparisons made between her and other Brazilian singers. “There's no way we want my results, in Brazil, to be compared to other artists in Brazil who have their careers focused on Brazil. Who has publicity focused on Brazil, who dedicate 100% of their time focused on Brazilian territory”, he declared.

Saying that each career has its own characteristics, Anitta highlighted the satisfaction she feels with her trajectory. “It's obvious that these people will have greater and faster results, because nowadays my career is focused elsewhere, on another sound, in another language. It has all of this, and it's all great. People have to stop picking their hair out of eggs. My life is wonderful”, he concluded.
