Brazilians Take eSports Seriously: PGB 2024 Reveals –

A Search Games Brazil (PGB) interviewed more than 13 thousand people across the country and revealed that 73.9% play digital games, and of this group, 82.1% know eSports.

What's more, the majority (50.1%) prefer to play eSports instead of just following the championships (49.9%).

  • 59.7% have already purchased skins for characters or equipment.

Betting and eSports

Betting is also booming. With the growth of online betting houses in Brazil:

  • 50.6% They think it's cool to bet on their favorite team's games.
  • 80.7% They have already invested between R$50 and R$300 in betting on professional matches.
