Bronny James suffers cardiac arrest during college game, but recovers and is seen in public with his family

During a college basketball practice, Bronny needed to be rescued after suffering a cardiac arrest on July 24th. The 18-year-old boy was admitted and released from the hospital this Thursday (27), and the following day he was seen leaving a restaurant accompanied by his father LeBron, mother Savannah Brinson and brothers Bryce Maximus and Zhuri Nova.

Heart failure

According to TMZ, at 9:26 am on July 24, a call was made to the emergency services asking for help for Bronny James, who was unconscious and was taken to the hospital in an ambulance, and needed to be admitted after suffering a cardiac arrest. A note on behalf of the family was published thanking the medical team for their work and asking for respect and privacy at this time.

LeBron also thanked the fans for their support through a post on Twitter: “I want to thank the countless people who sent love and prayers to my family. We feel you and I'm so grateful”, he commented, saying that his entire family was together and well, and that everyone's support meant a lot to him.

Family talent

The eldest son of basketball player LeBron James is following in the footsteps of his father, 38-year-old LeBron James, who has already commented that it is a dream for him to share the court with his son, something that has never happened in the league before. Bronny will become eligible for the 2024 NBA Draft, and for now continues to play for the University of Southern California (USC) team.

LeBron James joined the ranks of basketball billionaires last year, but he's still the first one. The star came from a humble family, and in addition to basketball, he made his fortune by investing in other businesses. Others who also bear the title of billionaire are Michael Jordan, who has already retired from the court, and Kobe Bryant, who passed away in 2020.
