Gugu's son visits Serginho Groisman's program and reveals his future on TV

In the program “Altas Horas” which aired this Saturday (29), he received as one of the guests, the son of presenter Gugu Liberato, who asked to visit the studios and Serginho Groisman's program.

Presenter Serginho revealed that the request to see the program was made by him during his stay in São Paulo. “João, it’s João Liberato, Gugu’s son, who came to visit here today, asked to meet… So welcome, okay?”, welcomed. João took the moment to thank us. “Thank you very much, I really like it, very cool”replied John.

At the beginning of the month, João Augusto was present on SBT and Globo in the same week, which generated speculation about a possible negotiation for the son of one of the greatest presenters on Brazilian television to follow in his father's footsteps.

During the program, Simony, one of the guests, celebrated the friendship between João and his son Ryan. “He is very good friends with Ryan, my son. I’m happy to see you here, beautiful, wonderful and well.”fired the compliment.

Serginho also took the moment to question him about his interest in following in his father's footsteps. “I think so. I really like television and the media”says João. “Good luck”the presenter wished the young man.

Dispute over inheritance

The inheritance left by Gugu Liberato valued at R$1 billion remains in dispute. On one side are the twin sisters Marina and Sofia Liberato who do not agree because their mother, Rose Miriam di Matteo, was left out of Gugu's will because she was not married on paper, despite being presented to the public as the journalist's wife and who has been fighting since 2019 for recognition of their stable union.

On the other side, João Augusto Liberato, the eldest son who goes against his sisters' opinion and argues that Miriam should not inherit part of the fortune.

In addition to the children, there are two other people involved in the case: Ricardo Rocha – an alleged fourth son of the presenter – and Thiago Salvático – who claims to have had a real relationship with Gugu.

Great communicator on Brazilian TV

Gugu Liberato died in 2019 after falling from a ladder, following an attempt to change a light bulb at his home in the United States. Presenter, radio host, journalist, businessman and producer, Gugu conquered Brazil with his simple and dynamic way of presenting his programs on Sundays, which he started on SBT and later on Record TV.
