Daniel Alvim and Fábio Assunção speak out after confusion

In the early evening of this Monday (18), actors Daniel Alvim and Fábio Assunção went public to provide clarifications after the video of two exchanging punches, in a bar, in São Paulo, circulated on the internet this afternoon.

“I try to pass on to everyone, wherever they may be, some message of peace. We are always learning and I don't believe that things can be resolved through violence. Daniel and I are upset, but we know who we are. Sorry for having to consume a video that a bad person filmed and sold to the press. It must be bad to make a living like that. We come, apologize and move on better. Dani, I love you my partner. Axe.” published Fábio on his networks.

Still in the video, Daniel explained that the situation got out of control after a question from Assunção. “We were outside the restaurant and started talking about politics and a lot of issues. Fábio, who is my brother, said something that turned into a huge argument and made me lose control”said the director.

Understand the fight

According to information from columnist Léo Dias, witnesses present at the restaurant stated that Daniel had attacked Fábio, who retaliated with insults and provocations. Fábio received some cuts in his mouth and some bruises on his body.

The fight was reportedly contained by local security guards and a woman, who was with Fábio.

Police case

After the confusion at the restaurant, Assunção filed a complaint against Daniel Alvim, opening a police report. According to the record, Assunção reported that Daniel got excited during a conversation and started attacking.

The actor also informed that it was all just a misunderstanding between friends and that he will not take the incident to the police any further.
