Denmark will provide around 3 billion reais to Ukraine

According to a statement made by Nick Hækkerup, the country’s defense minister, Denmark will increase its military investment to Ukraine. As reported, the amount will be 21.9 billion Danish kroner; this value in reais is approximately 3.21 billion reais.

The announcement was confirmed and reinforced this Monday (19), the value confirmed by Denmark will be ‘given’ to Ukraine during the years 2023 to 2028. The Danish country will send the value through a Ukrainian fund, created in March by the country donor. One of the Nordic country’s goals is to be among Ukraine’s most important supporters.

Initially the ‘Ukrainian fund’ was established in the amount of 7 billion Danish kroner which, converted to the real, is equivalent to around 500 million reais. The amount will be used for military supplies and revitalization of the country; topics are: business recovery, military needs and humanitarian need (support for Ukrainians who have lost property and loved ones).

It has not yet been publicly announced by the Danish country how much of this amount is already available for release and use in Ukraine.

war in ukraine

It was from the order of Russian President Vladimir Putin that the invasion of the country began. With Russian troops attacking the Ukrainian country, which had little war power, Ukraine was destroyed.

Russia’s attack on the country shocked several countries, which provided support to the region and the Ukrainians. Since then, attacks have persisted in a country completely torn apart by bombings and attacks.

Countries, such as Denmark, have tried to help the country in some way, whether raising flags against Russia, for the end of the war; sending supplies to the resistant military or welcoming Ukrainian refugees into their countries.
