Endrick says goodbye to Palmeiras fans and leaves for Real Madrid

This Thursday (30) was a night marked by emotion. The Palmeiras fans paid a beautiful tribute in farewell to Endrick, a young promise who will head to Real Madrid. The 17-year-old player was moved to tears alongside his teammates before the clash against San Lorenzo in the Conmebol Libertadores. Several banners and flags were displayed during the game, remembering the striker's memorable moments in Verdão.

Tributes and notable moments

During the game, green and white banners extended across one of the sectors of Allianz Parque. One of them had the message “come back soon” written, along with the image of Endrick holding the Palmeiras shield on his shoulders. With this tribute, Alviverde fans made a point of showing gratitude and affection for the young talent who will pursue a career in Europe. In tears during the playing of the National Anthem, the athlete constantly kept his hand on the shield of the club that formed him.

At the end of the game, Endrick spoke about the honor received: “I'm very happy, it was very beautiful. I saw that they recreated the goal I scored against Novo Horizontino. I was very emotional because it was the last time I would step foot in Allianz, right? So, I'm very grateful to the fans. My family taught me to be grateful for the people and for everything that has happened in my life. Palmeiras is a team that has always welcomed me. New horizons and challenges

After saying goodbye as a Palmeiras athlete, Endrick is preparing for new challenges. Next Monday (03), the striker will present himself to the Brazilian team to compete in the Copa América and friendlies. After the continental competition for the national team, Endrick will head to Real Madrid, where he will join compatriots and teammates Vinicius Jr, Eder Militão and Rodrygo. At Palmeiras, the challenge of replacing the player arises. At the press conference after the draw with San Lorenzo, coach Abel was asked about the matter and replied: “Replacing Endrick will be as we have always done: valuing our players and considering other options.
