Evanescence delights fans with their anthems at the Allianz Parque Stadium

After the performance in Curitiba, it was São Paulo's turn to experience the alternative metal sound of the American band Evanescence, last Saturday (21). The event, with a repertoire full of hits, captivated the approximately 40 thousand people present at the Allianz Parque stadium, becoming the biggest solo show of the band's career to date.

Among the hits that shone in the show were hits from the 2000s, such as “Going Under“, “My Immortal” It is “Bring Me to Life“.

After performances in Curitiba and São Paulo, the American band, who is on tour to promote their latest album, “The Bitter Truth“, will continue to Rio de Janeiro on October 23rd, performing at Qualistage, and will continue with shows on October 25th and 26th at Arena Hall in Belo Horizonte. His visit to Brazil will end with a last show on 28th October at the Classic Hall in Recife. The Brazilian group Ego Kill Talent accompanies Evanescence for the opening shows.

About Evanescence

Evanescence is an alternative metal band from the United States, formed in 1995. Currently, the band is made up of Amy Lee (vocals), Will Hunt (drums), Emma Anzai (bass), Tim McCord and Troy McLawhorn (guitar).

The band has released five studio albums, with four of them containing new songs: “Fallen” (2003), “The Open Door” (2006), “Evanescence” (2011) and “The Bitter Truth” (2021). The album “Synthesis” (2017) consists of reinterpretations of the band's hit tracks.

“Fallen”, the band's debut album, generated several hits and was especially successful in the 2000s, standing out with songs such as “Going Under”, “My Immortal”, “Bring Me to Life” and “Everybody's Fool“.
