Ex-BBB Vinicius suffers bus accident and helps save passengers

In the early hours of this Monday (8), Vinicius Rodrigues, former participant of BBB 24, suffered a bus accident in Maringá, Paraná. The vehicle overturned on a road going to Londrina.

The former brother, who is known for being a para-athlete and for having participated in this edition of the television program, acted like a hero by helping to rescue other injured passengers. He shared this experience in stories on his personal Instagram profile.

Understand the accident

The event occurred this morning, when a pickup truck allegedly entered in front of the bus, forcing the driver to perform a maneuver that resulted in the vehicle overturning. Vinicius lost a leg in an accident almost ten years ago and used his prosthetic to open the emergency exit and assist in the evacuation.

Despite the severity of the accident, Vinicius suffered only minor injuries and later continued his journey to Londrina, expressing gratitude for having survived yet another close encounter with death.

The driver of the car involved in the accident did not survive, and the bus driver was trapped in the wreckage. Local authorities and the Fire Department are investigating the accident and seeking more information about other possible victims.

Amputation and career

At the age of 19, Vinicius Rodrigues faced an accident in Maringá, Paraná, which resulted in the amputation of his leg. It was in the same city that he suffered the accident this morning.
