About the plot:

Fans of the series “Rings of Power” will have to wait for the second season to continue following the developments seen at the end of the first, such as the forging of the power rings and the revelation of the identity of Sauron. Scheduled to debut on Amazon Prime Video in the first quarter of 2024.

Filming for the second season took place in the United Kingdom, rather than New Zealand, which was used to film the original trilogy. Sources claim that this change was made to better suit the locations described in the books of JRR Tolkien.
