Foo Fighters play in Curitiba in September: Unmissable!

The rock band Foo Fighters announced on their social networks last Tuesday (02) a show in the city of Curitiba, in Paraná. The group will perform on September 7th, at the Couto Pereira stadium and will feature special openings from the bands Garbage and Wet Leg.

According to Live Nation Brasil, producer of the event, ticket sales will begin this Thursday, May 4, at 10am, via the Eventim website and at 12pm in person at the official box office, at Couto Pereira. In-person purchases are exempt from the service fee.

Prices range from R$220 to R$970. Check the prices below:

• BRANCHES: R$440 full price and R$220 half price
• SUPERIOR SOCIAL CHAIR: R$540 full price and R$270 half price
• RACE: R$ 590 full price and R$ 295 half price
• LOWER SOCIAL CHAIR: R$650 full price and R$325 half price
• MAUÁ CHAIRS: R$720 full price and R$360 half price
• PREMIUM TRACK: R$ 970 full price and R$ 485 half price

Dave Grohl and company will also perform in São Paulo, on September 9th, at the “The Town” festival. The event, which will take place at the Autódromo de Interlagos, will also feature the participation of the bands Garbage and Wet Leg. Tickets for the festival are already sold out.

This will be the band's first show in Brazil since the death of drummer Taylor Hawkins, who passed away on March 25, 2022, two days before the group's performance at Lollapalooza Brazil. The loss of their partner meant that the band had to cancel their commitment. The last show was at Rock in Rio, in 2019, and marked a legendary performance by the group for the Brazilian public, with more than two hours of performance.

Foo Fighters recently announced the release of the band's new album: But here we are. The release date is set for June 2nd and a single has already been made available: Rescued.

With this, the band hopes for a new beginning after the loss of their original drummer. So far, there is no confirmation of who the new drummer will be, just speculation involving names like Matt Cameron from Pearl Jam and Soundgarden and Atom Willard from Angels & Airwaves.
