For Vogue, Rihanna promises new musical project: “It will be fun for me”

During the final stretch of her pregnancy with her firstborn, Rihanna continues to show the best of the fashion universe, in her mission to change the world's perspective on pregnant women. But the question she doesn't want to silence: where is the new album? Regarding this, the singer responded to an interview with Vogue that his new musical project will be “funny” for her.

The long awaited R9her ninth studio album and successor to the acclaimed and favorite of the artist herself, “ANTI”, released 6 years ago, still has no scheduled release date and everything seems to be changing in its planning, even more so now that it is experiencing a new and important moment in its life.

For the billionaire, “ANTI” is the best album of her career, as she stated to the American magazine, but that doesn't mean that, with her next project, she would compete with herself, or of course, with anyone else in the music industry today.

“I'm looking at my next project completely different from the way I wanted to release it before. I think this way fits me better, much better. It's authentic, it will be fun for me, and it takes a lot of pressure off me.”, revealed the composer.

Regarding her pregnancy, the businesswoman also said that she was taken by surprise, as it was not something that with her boyfriend, the rapper A$AP Rockywere planning. “I don't know when I ovulate or anything like that. We just had fun. And then he was there at the audition. I didn't waste time. I called Rocky inside and showed him straight away. So I was at the doctor's office the next morning and our journey began.”, she said.

A “pop mom” took the opportunity to open up about her discoveries and fears about motherhood: “At first I expected some magical change. But I really remain who I am. I think I even say “yes” more often now because I know it will be different on the other side of this. What scares me the most is postpartum depression. Will I feel out of control emotionally?
