Singer Jão is announced in the Rock in Rio line-up

This Tuesday the singer Jão was announced in the Rock in Rio line-up, an artist from São Paulo has been standing out on the Brazilian music scene and will perform on September 9th alongside a guest who has not been revealed, the presentation will take place at Sunset Stage. The publication was made on the event's social networks.

The artist talks about the excitement of performing at one of the biggest music festivals in the world: “It's always been a dream to sing at this festival for which I have huge respect. Two years ago, this wasn't a reality. It's really beautiful to see how each step we took brought us here. We're going to deliver a huge show!”

This March, the singer participated in LollaPalooza for the first time and at the time stated that he felt extremely happy to perform at a festival that he participated only as an admirer. At the presentation that took place at the Autódromo de Interlagos, the audience went wild.

He already has three CDs released and his last one known as Pirata, gives the title to the tour which features tracks such as Idiot, Joker, Do not love you among others. The album features lyrics that portray love, discoveries, sex and goodbyes. The song Idiot debuted on music platforms totaling 42 million reproductions.

On the same day that the singer performs artists such as: Avril Lavigne, Di Ferreiro and Vitor Kley will take place on the same stage as Rock in Rio. The date will also celebrate the 1985 edition, where a tribute performance will take place.

General ticket sales will be available from today at 7pm with tickets ranging between 312.50 (half) and 625.00 (full). Purchases can be made via the website: rockinrio.ingresso.com. This year's edition will only feature digital tickets where participants will receive codes on their cell phones as the date approaches.
