“I'm working as fast as I can”

Singer-songwriter Lady Gaga recently met with presenter Nikki de Jager for an interview. In it, the POP star revealed that she is working on a new album and intends to present it to the public soon.

The news left the “Little Monsters” excited, as the artist's last album was released in 2020, and since then, fans have been eagerly awaiting a new project.

New album coming soon

In the conversation, Lady revealed that she is feeling very inspired at the moment and is working as quickly as possible: “I'm working as fast as I can. I say I'm feeling deeply inspired at the moment. I'm very excited to show the fans everything I have. And I would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who is looking forward to the album” declared the artist.

This will be Gaga's seventh studio album. Her sixth solo album was “Chromatica”, released to the public in 2020. Since then, the singer has shared recording processes on Instagram, but without revealing many details.

Recently on TikTok, “Mother Monster” shared a cover of the song “Yes, and?” by Ariana Grande. In response to an internet user who commented on the post asking for more interactions, the singer asked her fans what they would like to know about her. Quickly, questions about new projects began to emerge. Playing with the public, Gaga informed “magical portions take time“, indicating that she was dedicating herself to her new album to deliver the usual solid and inspiring content, which consolidated the artist in the music industry.

Side projects

In addition to dedicating herself to the new album, Lady is also recording the sequel to the Joker franchise: “Foliè a Deux”. In the film, the artist will play the role of Alerquina, alongside Oscar-winning actor Joaquin Phoenix.

According to Variety magazine, the film will be a “jokebox” musical – a genre that defines films that feature reinterpretations of popular songs. According to the magazine, there will be at least 15 songs known to the public, one of which will be interpreted as a serenade between Lady and Joaquin. The film is scheduled to be released in Brazil on October 3rd.
