Jair Bolsonaro talks about pacification and does not mention the Supreme Court during a demonstration in São Paulo

This Sunday (25), during the afternoon, on Avenida Paulista, in São Paulo, a demonstration took place in favor of former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL). Present in an electric trio with supporters, Bolsonaro stated in a speech to voters that “seeks pacification and wishes to erase the pastâ€in addition to highlighting that there was no coup attempt in the attack on January 8, 2023.

During his speeches, Bolsonaro did not mention the Federal Supreme Court (STF), minister Alexandre de Moraes or the Federal Police, and current president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT). Bolsonaro said: “With this photograph, we show that we can even see a football team without fans become champions, but we cannot understand how there is a president without people by his side†, without mentioning the names of the competitors. He also asked Congress to carry out a new analysis for the “poor bastards on January 8th†, assessing that the penalties against those who invaded the headquarters of the Three Powers “deviate from the minimum of reasonableness†.

“I left Brazil and this persecution did not end. It's jewelry, it's a matter of harassment from the whale, money that would have been sent abroad, it's so much that they even end up working against you. What I seek is pacification, is to erase the past. It's about finding a way to continue in peace. We will not continue to be shocked.”said the former president in his speech.

At the end of his speech, the former president also asked voters to “pay attention to voting†, making reference to the 2024 municipal elections. And he also spoke to supporters about “prepare for 2026“, which Bolsonaro will not be able to apply for as he was considered ineligible for eight years.

The idea of ​​the event was to refute all the accusations against Bolsonaro. The event began with a prayer by former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro (PL), and continued with speeches by deputies Nikolas Ferreira (PL-MG) and Gustavo Gayer (PL-GO), as well as senator Magno Malta (PL-ES) and pastor Silas Malafaia.

The governors of Goiás, Ronaldo Caiado (União), and Santa Catarina, Jorginho Mello (PL), were also present. Tarcício de Freitas, governor of São Paulo, spoke: “My people, who was I?
