Foxx had already been seen taking a boat ride in Chicago a few weeks ago and would also have had a party to celebrate his recovery days ago.

Jamie Foxx was hospitalized in Georgia on April 11, with his eldest daughter Corinne sharing the news on social media. She said at the time: “We wanted to share that my dad Jamie Foxx had a medical complication yesterday. Thankfully, due to quick action and great care, he is now on the mend,” she wrote, without elaborating.

Foxx shares Corinne with his ex Connie Kline. He also has a second daughter, 14-year-old Annalize Bishop, with his ex Kristin Grannis.

A source told TMZ that the actor’s unspecified condition was “severe enough” at the time his family traveled to be by his side.

At the time, actress Porscha Coleman, who worked with the actor in the extinct series “Meu Pai e outros Vexames”, said during the BET awards that Foxx ‘was doing well’ in his recovery.
