Jennifer Lawrence on Chances of Returning to “The Hunger Games”

The four chapters of “Hunger Games”, released between 2012 and 2015, take place in a post-apocalyptic dystopian time, in which the young people of Panem must participate in the Hunger Games, an annual televised event, destined to fight for survival, in which only one will remain. The book adaptation was so well received by audiences that the first week’s gross was considered the third highest of all films released in North America.

In addition, the success of the franchise was so much that it won a derivative film. “The Song of Birds and Serpents” tells the story of the villain, Coriolanus Snoweven before becoming president of Panem and will address the moment when he, at the height of 18 years, becomes mentor to Lucy Gray Bairdthe female tribute from District 12. Now onto the comedy

While it does not return to the success of “Hunger Games”Lawrence is engaged in several productions, from satirical “Don’t Look Up” (2021) until the new comedy entitled “No Hard Fellings”. In the latter, Lawrence plays a driver Uber 32-year-old woman who is hired by a couple to date their 19-year-old son (Andrew Barth Feldman) and get him out of the everyday bubble, before going to college. Feldman, who participated in the interview with Varietywas asked if he remembered seeing his scene partner in “Hunger Games”. The actor replied that he had not only watched the series and read the books at the time, but a little while ago.

“I recently watched them just for fun and texted (Jennifer Lawrence) when it was happening. These moves are so good. That whole genre didn’t exist yet. We also didn’t know that this genre of film embodied such a big, true, and powerful performance. Jen’s pretty”said the actor.

Lawrence, on the other hand, squandered his usual charisma, when he joked that Andrew probably would not have even been born during the launch of “Hunger Games”.
