London and Hamburg Marathon figures

Find out some of the numbers and results of the two marathons that drew attention this past Sunday

The Londrina Marathon, third major of the year, received almost 50,000 runners in 2023

A london marathon counted on 48,598 graduates. Of these, 371 were Brazilians, which makes us the ninth country with the most representatives there, apart from Great Britain, of course. The best Brazilian in the competition was Danilo Daibertwho did 2:36:05 and the best Brazilian was Valery Mello, who completed the race in 3:11:19. Among the elite men, the winner was the Kenyan Kelvin Kiptum with 2:01:25, the second best mark in history and Sifan Hassan won the women’s race, on her debut over the distance, with 2:18:33. already the hamburg marathon counted on 8,664 graduates and 14 were Brazilians, counting the three elite athletes. Daniel do Nascimento was better with 2:07:06 (Olympic index), Johnatas Oliveira arrived at 14th place with 2:10:42 and Samuel Nascimento it was the 21st, with 2:15:01. The best Brazilian amateur was Lucas Ribeiro Diazwith 2:34:22 and the best among the Brazilians was Raquel Gonzalez-Berfortwho ended the race with 4:12:33. Read more about Hamburg here.
