Luísa Sonza offends internet users after criticism of her documentary
After the release of her documentary on Netflix on Wednesday (13), singer Luísa Sonza responded to public criticism using a song by Caetano Veloso. During an interview, she called critics “donkeys”generating great controversy on social media.
Countering criticism from internet users
During an interview with Billboard Brasil, Luísa responded to comments made by internet users about her work. She revealed that she avoids reading and getting involved in arguments, as she does not see it as a conversation of equals and in response to criticism from viewers who saw the documentary, she cited excerpts from a song by Caetano Veloso: “You're stupid, I can't record what you're saying”and added that these people are stupid and cannot understand what is said, which is why they do not respond.
Documentary about the life of Luísa Sonza
The documentary titled “If I were Luísa Sonza” was released by Netflix, in which the singer shared details about her life, career and beginnings, also addressing how she deals with the controversies that surround her entire life path. Luísa spoke for the first time about her marriage to her ex-husband Whindersson Nunes and also presented her new album “Intimate Scandal”. During the documentary, the artist was vulnerable, exposing moments of exhaustion, tears and difficulties that almost made her give up, revealing her entire journey to becoming the artist she is today.

After the documentary was shown, there was a lot of praise for the singer, but also criticism that made it the most talked about of the moment. Luísa expressed that she enjoyed the documentary, however, she would not do it again due to consideration of it being too invasive.
