One of the recommendations to be followed is that the vaccine, when administered for the first time to children, should be received twice, one month apart, that is, 30 days.
Priority groups
Among the total number of people to be immunized, there are priority groups, which are children aged 6 months and over, pregnant women, postpartum women (up to 45 days postpartum), health professionals, elderly people aged 60 and over, teachers, people in situations of homeless people, people with permanent disabilities, armed forces professionals, indigenous peoples, road transport workers and people with chronic non-communicable diseases.
According to the Health and Environment Surveillance Secretariat, vaccination generally takes place between May and April, but due to the increase in the number of cases, there was an anticipation due to the risks that the virus brings to the country. North region
The influenza vaccine in the northern region will begin in the second half of this year, as the virus is more concentrated in other regions that have gone on alert, increasing the concerns of professionals. In the region, the period of greatest circulation of the virus is in the Amazon winter, so they changed their strategy since last year.
Among the microplanning strategies carried out by the Ministry of Health are the vaccination campaign (called D-Day), vaccination in schools, checking vaccination records, among other strategies to expand people's access to the vaccine.
