NANS suspends June 12 protest
The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has suspended its arranged June 12 cross country protest.
NANS president, Sunday Asefon, revealed this in an assertion on Friday morning.
Review that NANS had recently proclaimed June 12, 2021, a day of protest.
The explanation which was named, ‘NANS Suspends the Protest Over Concerns About Safety Of Protesters And Fear Of Possible Hijack By Politicians – Comrade Sunday Asefon,’ part of the way read, “Having thought about the current security real factors and the peril to the existences of our individuals in the event of conceivable seize of the arranged protest, I in discussion with every one of the designs of NANS, subsequently, declare the suspension of our proposed protest for June 12.”
It added that the suspension of the protest was important to stay away from a conflict of interest and conflict with security organizations because of numerous different protests scheduled for the date.
The assertion added that the protest was suspended for the government assistance of students, adding that it would not like to put the existence of any of the students in danger.
June 12 Protest: Police warn against protest in Delta
The Delta State Police Command drove by CP Ari Muhammad Ali has said it won’t permit scoundrels to upset the tranquility of the state, notice occupants against any arranged fights in the State on June 12.
The police boss gave over the notice in an explanation endorsed by the Acting Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe.

“The order is like never before willing to pursue any scoundrel who may be found needing.”
CP Ali additionally encouraged individuals from people in general to collaborate with the police to see that the individuals who attempt to get disunity the State and Nigeria be captured and brought to book. (June 12 protest)
