President of Grêmio detonates continuity of Brasileirão

For the president of Guild, Alberto GuerraO Brasileirão should be stopped. The president declared in an interview with “Tá na Área”, on SporTV, that he feels attacked when he sees goal celebrations in national football amid the environmental disaster with the floods in Rio Grande do Sul.

“I am of the opinion that it should be stopped at least the next round, maybe two. But the situation is very serious. Some proved to be in favor. If all presidents were in our situation, they would think the same thing. But they aren’t, so they can’t get the true dimension.”highlighted Guerra.

“Some were in favor, some were silent and others wanted to follow more, they were reticent. There is still a lot to improve here”. The director explained that the state of mind linked to football does not match the reality experienced in Rio Grande do Sul today.

“Football is a party, joy, an expression of Brazilian culture. And I feel attacked watching goals celebrated in other states and people suffering, bodies floating, people dying. What we are experiencing is very serious. I don't know where we're going to train, play. I swear today it doesn't matter. We are in a phase of survival and helping others, looking for water, providing food”stuck.
