Preta Gil goes on stage and says: ‘Betrayal, we don’t forgive!’

Black Gil moved the audience at Engenhão, in Rio de Janeiro, on the night of Saturday, July 8th. The singer made a special appearance in the show “Numanice”, by Ludmilla and showed all its power.

“We don’t know about tomorrow, we only know about today and we can only live for today. Tell your friend: ‘I forgive you… Betrayal is different, then we don’t forgive,’ she said.

At another point, she warned: “Next year I will be cured and, God willing, we will be with the Bloco da Preta on the street.”

BLOOD DONATION CAMPAIGN

This week, singer Ludmilla had announced a partnership with Hemorio for a blood donation campaign. The artist donated tickets to the institution, in order to mobilize the population to donate blood to the state of Rio de Janeiro, which so badly needs it. The singer’s show, which is a great success wherever she goes, was the institute’s bet for a robust campaign, in order to supply the blood supply of the state of Rio de Janeiro. In just two days of the campaign, which lasted three, more than 2,000 bags of blood were donated. Each unit is capable of saving the lives of up to three people.

Huge lines were formed and many people managed to secure the ticket, which, in the past, was criticized by many netizens for being too expensive.

NUMANICE 1 AND 2 PROJECT

The first EP “Numanice”, the result of a promise that the singer fulfilled after telling the public that, if she won the Multishow Award, in the best female singer category, in 2019, she would present fans singing in the popular rhythm. As soon as Ludmilla got her prize, she reaffirmed her commitment and handed over the successful project to her fans. Released in April 2020, with all six new tracks in the Top 100 and the single “Amor Difícil” in the Top 40, the work marked the singer’s debut in rhythm and was highly approved by the public. Thanks to this success, the singer overcame barriers in a segment mostly dominated by men and repositioned the genre as a trend. Since then, the singer has not stopped and reconciled the rhythms. She recorded an audiovisual in November of the same year, in one of the most beautiful postcards of the Marvelous City, Pão de Açúcar, with participations by Thiaguinho, Bruno Cardoso (Sorriso Maroto), “Di Propósito”, Orochi and “Vou Pro Sereno” . The live work reached around 400 million plays and has now become a tour with sold out shows where the last one, in Rio de Janeiro, brought together 33 thousand people.

Such demand made the artist release, in January 2022, the studio album “Numanice #2”. With ten new tracks – all signed by Lud, some in partnership and others alone – all in the TOP 200, a record in the segment. In addition, in less than 24 hours of release, the work reached more than 1 million plays on digital platforms. In the second half of the same year, Lud recorded and released another audiovisual, “Numanice #2 Ao Vivo”, this time the recording was held at the “Museu do Amanhã”, a tourist spot in Rio. The success of the project is so great that, currently, with Numanice alone, the singer has more than a billion streams.
