Rachid reappears and finds himself strange with José Inocêncio

After many years, Rachid (Almir Sater) will finally appear. In the episode that will air on Renascer next Saturday, March 23, the Lebanese – and not Turkish like José Inocêncio (Marcos Palmeira) says – will arise. He will show up at Norberto's bar (Matheus Nachtergaele).

Firstly, in the chapter of Wednesday, March 20th, Rachid will ask for a place to rest. The gossipy owner of the establishment, however, will update everything about José Inocêncio's life. He will also take Rachid to the colonel's house.

“What is this conversation, Norberto? Why are you calling me Zé Costurado?”, Inocêncio will say, who will not recognize his friend after the merchant introduces him.

“Who is this about? It doesn’t seem strange to me… But don’t tell me… What is the Turkish Rachid?”, the farmer will ask, in Renascer.

“Yeah, but we’re not Turkish, we’re Lebanese!”, Rachid will respond.

What will the reunion be like?

This way, when he realizes that he is face to face with the man who stitched him up when he was attacked by a group of gunmen, Zé Inocêncio will be emotional and happy.

The colonel will send Inácia (Edvana Carvalho) have lunch on a whim, and Mariana (Theresa Fonseca) will appear in the room. That's where the harmony will end. This is because the Lebanese, even without intending to insult, will make a comment about Zé's wife, leaving Painho offended.

When standing in front of Colonel Belarmino's granddaughter (Antonio Calloni), Rachid will question whether the girl is José Inocêncio's daughter. The farmer will then be overcome with hatred and Norberto will not know where to put his face.
