Ramón Díaz arrives in Rio de Janeiro

The coach Ramon Diaz landed at Galeão International Airport, in Rio de Janeiro, this Wednesday morning, the 12th, to be announced as the new commander of the Basque. Beside the son, Emiliano Diazthe coach posed with a Cruzmaltino flag and heard some fans asking for reinforcements.

Ramón will lead the first training session at the CT this afternoon. His debut on the bench at Cruzmaltino will be in 11 days, when the team faces Athletico-PRon the 23rd, in São Januário, for the Brazilian Championship.

Ramon Diaz he was approached to take over as coach of Gigante da Colina and accepted. He’s another experienced coach who was free in the transfer window after a victorious spell at Al Hilal from Saudi Arabia. The Argentine did not renew his bond with the old team and became available on the ball market.

Ramón Diaz was Flamengo’s executioner in the last edition of the FIFA Club World Cup. He was the coach of the Arab team that eliminated the team in the semifinals of the tournament.
