Director Ridley Scott, who is heading the highly anticipated production “Napoleon”, surprised by comparing his approach on the film set to the detailed planning of a war strategy. Scott demonstrated his deep admiration for the team involved in the project and emphasized his complete trust.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly (EW), which also released new images from the film, Scott revealed that he took a highly coordinated approach to filming. He explained: “The costumes are impressive and I have a military expert to explain the causes and effects of the battle sequences. It's all very coordinated.”
Scott's lines
Scott emphasized the importance of regular meetings with production department heads to ensure the project ran smoothly: “We had meetings once a week and went through the script page by page. We organized it like that because everyone is working on this movie, and the left hand always knows what the right hand is doing.”
He compared making a film like “Napoleon” to climbing a challenging mountain: “From the base, the peak seems very far away. But as you climb the hill with your partners in this ridiculously challenging LEGO kit of information you're trying to put together, sometimes the pieces don't fit together, and you're already 20,000 feet up. . It's an ongoing day to day process, but that's why I do it.
About the movie

The film, according to Apple TV+, offers an original and personal look at Napoleon's origins and his meteoric rise to the rank of emperor, exploring his intense and often volatile relationship with his wife and true love, Josephine.
The theatrical release date is set for November 22nd, and later, the film will be available on Apple TV+.
