First time together

According to Eva's reports to the North American program Oprah Daily, the couple fell in love after getting closer while recording the film. “The Place Where Everything Ends” (2012), recorded in 2011. “We had known each other for some time. So working together was really exciting.”, he revealed.

Despite being very reserved these days, at the beginning of their relationship the couple was seen on a trip to Disneyland, on a romantic trip to Paris and even at the actress' mother's graduation from Brock University, in Toronto. The couple moved to Los Angeles to be further away from Hollywood and, according to a person close to the couple in an interview with People magazine, they wanted to avoid their daughters living with other children of famous Hollywood people.

In conversation with fans, Eva Mendes reinforced that she prefers to maintain a private life with her husband and daughters and that is why she does not post her family on Instagram. “My man and my daughters are private. This is important to me”, he explained.

For the actress, her daughters are priorities and she does not accompany her husband to ceremonies for this reason.
