SZA delivers captivating performance on last night of Lollapalooza

The Lollapalooza festival takes place this weekend (22, 23 and 24 March), at the Autódromo de Interlagos, in São Paulo. Among the main names in this edition are Blink-182, Arcade Fire, Kings Of Leon, Limp Bizkit, Titãs Encontro, Sam Smith and SZA. Singer SZA was one of the last attractions on Sunday night and the headliner of the last day of the festival, delivering a show worthy of a true pop artist, with scenery, choreography and a strong setlist.

Large production

Owner of hits such as “Kill Bill”, “Good Days” and “Drew Barrymore”, SZA brought a show that mixed pop with R&B, Jazz and Soul. Doing a very Brazilian style, she went on stage wearing a crop top with the Brazilian flag and a pair of denim shorts. At the beginning of the show, the singer appeared on top of a huge stage that reproduced a kind of island, with two houses on the sides. Furthermore, at another point in the show, some LED screens projected images of oceans, further producing the visual effect of “SOS Tour“, which passed through North America last year.

Even though this presentation is a reduced version of the “SOS Tour“, some members of the tour were present. During the performance of “low“, for example, SZA danced on top of a hanging ball – similar to the one Miley Cyrus used in the video for “Wrecking Ball” – which carried the singer between the sets on stage.
