Women in Love: Laura catches César with Luciana

Raquel despairs when she realizes that Marcos already knows where she lives, works, everything. Helena blames Estela for continuing to drink. Estela asks her cousin for help to donate a car to the church. Rodrigo and Clara ride a motorcycle, then have a coconut and talk about problems with their father/mother. Marcinha tells Laura that Rodrigo is someone else after the news of the postponement of the wedding. They go out to lunch. Estela and Helena agree to help the priests. Raquel cries on the beach. Fred sees her and keeps her company. César asks Luciana to massage his shoulders. Lucas shows Helena a photo of Salete that he found in his father’s hotel room. Laura enters her office and finds Luciana giving Cesar a massage. César reacts naturally, but Laura gets annoyed and asks what else Luciana is doing in her absence. Helena doesn’t like to know that Salete was at Nick Bar. Laura furious and César pretending to be normal. Laura accuses Luciana of replacing her very well, in every sense. Luciana does not admit Laura’s accusations and retorts that César is, yes, hitting on her, but that she has done nothing wrong. Helena suggests holding a festival to benefit the parish of Padre Pedro on Edwiges’ birthday. Edwiges calls Cláudio to tell him the news and he is at the pool with Gracinha. Marcinha consoles Laura, who guarantees that there will be no more marriage. Luciana tells Tereza that she didn’t want to upset Laura. César asks Luciana to forgive him and insists that they have dinner together. Fernanda is fired. Helena consults Lorena about the fair. They comment on Estela’s love for Father Pedro. Fernanda tells Téo that she was fired and he comforts her awkwardly. Heloisa finally manages to talk to Sérgio on the phone. Marina and Diogo meet Estela at breakfast. Salete asks if Téo couldn’t marry Fernanda and be her real father.

“Mulheres Apaixonadas” is a soap opera aired by Rede Globo between February 17 and October 10, 2003. Written by Manoel Carlos and with general direction by Ricardo Waddington, the plot had big names in the cast, such as Christiane Torloni, Tony Ramos, Susana Vieira, Dan Stulbach and much more.

Sérgio sends Heloísa back home. She insists there’s nothing better for them than a second honeymoon in Europe. He threatens: either she gives up traveling or the marriage ends there. Heloísa begs, in tears, that Sérgio not leave her. Doris charms the models. Irene warns that Carlão is furious with her. Sérgio guarantees that he is moving away in an attempt to save the marriage and leaves. Heloísa cries disconsolately. Raquel despairs when she thinks that her ex-husband is going to start chasing her again. Fred calls, but Raquel doesn’t answer. Doris sleeps at the hotel. Helena insists with Heloisa that she needs treatment. Rosinha is surprised by Raquel’s concern to find out if someone has called her again. Edwiges is introduced to Gracinha. Marly tells Carlão about the rude way in which Doris treated her grandparents. Luciana finds information about a patient that Laura had forgotten to enter into the computer and gives it to César. Rafaela warns that Clara’s mother is going upstairs. Doris refuses to listen to Carlão’s scolding, who threatens her with a belt.

Tuesday, July 25th

He kisses her and she cries. Sílvia prophesies that her daughter’s marriage will end. Diogo assures Marina that he loves her and won’t leave her. Marcinha asks Raquel to put her on the same team as Fred. Rodrigo watches Clara play volleyball in the water. Lorena comforts her son. Rafaela notices Rodrigo’s gaze. Edwiges shows a slight jealousy of Gracinha. Marcondes warns that Marina could get pregnant other times. Estela recommends photographers for Expedito’s book. Doris feels her body aching from the beating, but she doesn’t tell anyone. César searches for Luciana, but does not find her. Helena is disturbed when talking to Lorena on the phone and knowing that she is at César’s side. Sonia watches Téo’s rehearsal. Doris is dazzled at the mall by Estela, who ends up buying a dress for her assistant. Irene and Carlão lament the lack of money. Helena talks to Téo about Lucas’s little attention problems at school and thinks it’s time to reveal the truth to the boy. Téo disagrees, arguing that this is not the time. Luciana arrives for duty and goes to Marina’s room.

Wednesday, July 26th

Luciana guarantees that she is sorry, but Marina jokes that she must be happy. Doris dreams of appearing in society columns. Vidinha marks Expedito’s photo session. Marina asks Diogo not to leave the room any longer. César invites Luciana to join the group that is going out for drinks, but she tells him that she is on duty. Teresa thinks she should invest, but Luciana makes it clear that he’s her boss. César invites Luciana to lunch later that week Diogo puts food in Marina’s mouth, still very fragile. Marcinha gets upset when she sees Fred and Raquel having lunch together. Expeditious makes photos. Lorena, Doris and Vidinha accompany everything, giving opinions, looking fascinated and smiling at each other. Helena offers a security guard to accompany Raquel, but she refuses. Marina cries arranging the clothes she bought for her son. Helena gets upset when Luciana talks to Téo about her work with César and comments that the doctor is hitting on her.

Thursday, July 27th

Helena leaves the table, claiming a headache. Santana advises Helena, who is feeling betrayed, to look for César. Hilda cannot convince Heloisa to leave the house. Raquel gets upset when she receives flowers from her ex-husband Marcos. Fred is not thrilled when Leonora points out that she bought a bike to ride with him. Laura agrees to meet Marcinha. Everyone loves Expedito’s photos. Rodrigo tells Helena that her father is losing interest in Laura. César praises Luciana’s work and insists that they have lunch together one day. Rodrigo takes Clara for a ride on his motorcycle. Helena blames Estela for continuing to drink. She asks her cousin for help in donating a car to the church. Fred sees Raquel sitting on the beach and keeps her company. Leonora watches the two from afar. César asks Luciana to massage his shoulders. Lucas shows Helena and Téo a photo of Salete that he found in his father’s hotel room. Laura enters her office and finds Luciana giving Cesar a massage.

Fernanda fights with Salete, who insists he heard her mother talking to Wilma about separating from Téo. Estela tells about the two miscarriages she suffered, which depresses Marina. Téo explains to Salete that she likes Fernanda as a friend. Estela wants to donate a car to the fair. Salete draws a couple, a girl and a boy out for a walk, and sends it to Lucas as a gift. Luciana fights with Tereza when she learns that the entire clinic is talking about the massage she gave her boss. Raquel assures Helena that she won’t go back to her ex-husband. Teachers and students see photos of the party at Marcinha’s house. Marina feels insecure, distressed. Sílvia tries to reward Caetano, who doesn’t accept it. Luciana and César plan to have dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. Helena admires a photo of César and keeps it in her drawer. Lorena, Vidinha and Expedito leave for the parade. Helena explains to Lucas why he can’t go to the event. Marcinha can’t find her father’s photo; he jokes that maybe Helena stole it. César and Luciana settle down at Nick Bar. Helena, Heloisa, Hilda, Leandro and Elisa go in for a drink. Helena sees Luciana and Cesar. Marta jokes that Luciana will definitely replace Laura. The parade begins. Expedito looks at everything carefully. Oswaldo shares his problem with Ana and Argemiro: his godmother, with whom Paulinha lives, is moving. Gracinha and Cláudio are talking animatedly in the kitchen. Marta worries because her son only has relationships with lower class women. Vidinha asks Leila to stay with her at Nick Bar. César and Luciana say goodbye and Helena then leaves, irritated. Tereza watches Luciana’s arrival from the window.
