Women of Sand: Manuela suffers after having her tent destroyed

In “Mulheres de Areia”, a soap opera that is being rerun by Rede Globo, Virgílio (Raul Cortez) gave orders to destroy Manuela’s stall (Eloisa Mafalda).

Tuesday, July 18th

Tonho threatens Raquel and Donato stops him. Donato denounces Tonho to the delegate. Tônia tells the deputy that it was she who told Breno about the stakes on the beach. Tonho hides from Donato and Glorinha and Ruth look for him. Tonho asks Ruth to stay with him. The fishermen lie to the sheriff in front of Donato and say that he didn’t see Tonho with Raquel. Bar owner laughs at the situation with Donato. Glorinha tells Tonho that he no longer needs to hide. Ruth arrives home and meets Marcos along with Raquel. Ruth tells Marcos that she wants to talk to him now.

Wednesday, July 19th

Raquel prevents Ruth from telling the whole truth. Marcos and Raquel plan the wedding. Malu takes Alaor’s gun and shoots it in the air. Alaor finds Carlota lying on the ground and says it was the shot. Marcos asks Clarita to help Raquel buy the trousseau. Virgílio tells Arlete that Carlota is not at risk. A hotel employee tells Virgílio that Tonia is talking badly about him. Raquel goes after Wanderlei at the hotel. Raquel takes the money from Wanderlei. Raquel meets Clarita. Raquel delivers the money to Clarita. Raquel tells Clarita that she loves Marcos. Clarita meets Raquel’s family.

Thursday, July 20th

Virgílio goes to Tonia’s bazaar to confront her. Tonia kicks Virgílio out of the store. Clarita tells Marcos that she thinks Raquel is like, she’s not so authentic. Virgílio tells Zé Pedro that he’s going to help Manuela, but he wants it to be done in secret. Carlota wakes up and recovers well. Malu leaves the hospital room in a hurry. Wanderlei arrives at Raquel’s house and mistakes Ruth for her and drags her away and Marcos worries. Ruth tells Wanderlei that it’s not Raquel. Virgílio takes the money that Raquel returned to Clarita. Marcos declares himself to Raquel. Ruth asks Raquel what this is about owing Wanderlei money. Marcos sees Raquel kissing Wanderlei. Raquel pretends to be Ruth for Marcos.

Friday, July 21st

Tonho tells Marcos that he will suffer a lot with Raquel. Joel and Tonia fight. Virgílio tells Zé Pedro to place a scarecrow next to the stall. Ruth cries hugging Tonho. Virgílio doesn’t believe that Malu is behaving better and she gets upset. Malu gets a flat tire on her father’s car. Virgílio curses Malu. Virgílio and Malu fight. Malu asks Marcos for help to convince Virgílio not to withdraw his card. Arlete confuses Raquel with Ruth. Andrea finds Raquel.
