In a presentation of the tour celebrating their incredible 50-year career, the brothers from Paraná brought a true show to the Qualistage stage, in Barra da Tijuca, last night (31). From the traditional “crybaby” From country music to low guitar bass, the duo showed that time has only favored all their talent and made them even more pluralistic. Charismatic, they not only sang and played, they brought the audience onto the stage by sharing stories, talking about the challenges of the beginning of their career and how success has never changed the essence of what they like to do, delivering feelings through their music. An important detail is that the lead singer of the duo, Xororó, is recovering from the flu and still delivered impeccable high notes to the Rio de Janeiro audience.

But they also brought their most recent song “Birds” and they said they don't intend to stop producing now, will there be new music coming?

Another highlight of the show was the choir “Galopeira” where they sang without a band and without instruments with the audience, forming a majestic choir of “country bumpkin”, a term used by the press at the beginning of the duo’s career, as soon as they became known in the media, with their first big hit “Strand of hair”.

They thanked singer Wesley Safadão for attending the event, and were moved to dedicate the show to the band's former guitarist, Marcelo Modesto, who passed away less than a month ago.

They also recalled that although the tour was called '50 years of career' it should have started in 2020, but had to be postponed due to preventive measures against Covid-19, that is, in reality they are already completing 53 years of career, and more “a few years together”joked Xororó with his older brother. Together they have accumulated more than 50 albums in their discography that have already sold more than 40 million copies in Brazil and around the world.
