The partnership of Dennis and Kevin O Chris in “Tá OK”, in addition to reaching significant milestones in streaming and reaching the top 1 as the most listened to song in Brazil according to Billboard, promises to grow even more with the confirmation of the remix of the track with the presence of two of the most popular artists on the current Latin music scene.
Karol G and Maluma were officially confirmed as participants in the remix. Maluma and Dennis had already released excerpts from their part in the version last month that confirmed the reggaeton star's participation. Also last month, Karol G had posted a video on his social networks listening to the original version of “Tá OK” and drove Brazilian internet users crazy asking for Karol to participate in the remix.
Partnership confirmation
Last night (23), Dennis published a video promoting the single on his Instagram, marking Karol's name on a passport. The video was reposted by the Colombian singer in her stories officially confirming her presence. In the caption, the DJ also mentions Kevin O Chris and Maluma and leaves a question addressed to the audience in both languages: “Are ready? Are you excited?” Kevin O Chris in his post wrote: “You asked for it, so take it!”
“It's OK” from Brazil to the world
Latin music has been gaining more and more space on the international music scene and the union between the artists could take Brazilian funk even further, since although Maluma had collaborated with Anitta in the past, the music was not funk. Karol G and Maluma also collaborated together previously on “CRÉEME”, but this is the singer’s first time collaborating with Brazilian artists. MC Kevin O Chris, in turn, already has an international remix collaboration with Drake on the 2019 hit “Ela é do Tipo”.
The combination of individual talents with the popularity of these artists guarantees the legacy of “Tá OK” making it even better known to the general public on and off social media.
