Businessman reveals details of Roberto Medina's new project and surprise attraction at the festival

In an interview with the Popline portal, the Brazilian businessman and creator of the festival Rock in RioRoberto Medina, spoke about The Town, the advertiser's new project. During the chat released this Wednesday (05), the businessman also mentioned the American singer Bruno Mars, who will be one of the attractions of the festival.

The businessman stated that, when he created Rock in Rio in 1985, he wanted a project where the show could be more than just a stage and a band that would attract the audience. According to Medina, it was also important to think about each step the consumer took during the festival, from the moment they entered the venue, through the activities that the person could do in addition to watching their favorite band, until the time they left. The idea, with Rock in Rio, was to create a national movement. And the advertiser succeeded: today, Rock in Rio is the main music festival in Brazil.

The Town takes place on the days September 2, 3, 7, 9 and 10 at the Interlagos Race Track, in São Paulo. Sales to the public begin on April 18th.
