After criticism Taylor Swift edits “Anti-Hero” video

Singer Taylor Swift recently published her new album “Midnights” and has already broken some records on streaming platforms. In Brazil the album “Midnights” broke the international single record with the song “Anti-Hero” which was accessed 853,000 (thousand) times in a single day.

After the release of the album and music video “Anti-Hero”, the singer has been suffering some accusations of fatphobia from some fans who associated the comment on the video (fat) with something bad. The scene in question shows Taylor and her alter-ego in the bathroom, while the singer steps on the scale and the following word appears: “Fat” and then she is reprimanded by her alter-ego. Taylor, in turn, after these accusations, decided to edit the clip that was published on the Apple Music streaming platform, removing the close-up on the scales and keeping only the reprimand in her alter-ego's eyes. The original video can be accessed and is still available on the YouTube platform. Taylor and Apple Music have so far not published any notes regarding these accusations and editing of the scene in question.

Known for her realistic and impactful music, Taylor always brings a vivid representation to her songs, “Anti-Hero” has a much greater context behind the singer's interpretation, the song talks about one of the most difficult moments of her life where she lowers all her armor and exposes her ghosts. The song portrays her eating disorders, which the singer has already spoken publicly about, including in the documentary “Miss America” which is available on the Netflix platform. The song also portrays how Taylor feels inadequate and insufficient in social life.

Beyond music “Anti-Hero”the album “Midnights” brings other songs that generated some speculation in the singer's fan club who expressed their opinions about the songs “Lavender Haze” It is “Maroon”.
