Black Panther actor celebrates his return to the series “Whats If…?

This Wednesday (15), the streaming platform Disney+ shared with fans the trailer for the second season of “Whats If…?. The new season will enter the catalog in December, the animation is the first MCU production in this format, and promises to continue surprising fans. The announcement made through social media generated a huge response, even among the actors.

The actor Atandwa Kaniwho worked in “Black Panther” as the younger version of KING T'CHAKA's character in flashbacks to the past, he shared the news with fans by watching the official trailer for season 2, and confirmed that he will participate in the series.

“Damn!! It is me!! That's my voice!! KING T’CHAKA!!!”commented the actor in his post on X.

The episodes of the new season will begin airing on December 22nd, running until the 30th and ending the MCU's 2023 in style. The trailer was accompanied by scenes from the season, some of these scenes will be part of the episodes “Avengers in the 80s”which will be attended by KING T'CHAKA as Black Panther.

About the Animation WHAT IF…?

What If…? It is the first animated series from Marvel Studios, it is based on the famous HGs series that focuses on showing alternative versions of heroes such as T'Challa played by Chadwick Boseman, in addition to some very different situations from the events of the Marvel Universe. The project is one of the most different and unexpected ever announced for the 4th Phase of the MCU. The person responsible for showrunners of the series is the writer and director Ashley Bradley.

O CanWeGetSomeToast previously revealed that the titles of the next nine episodes have already been released, promising adventures that fans would never imagine around the different alternative realities of the Marvel multiverse.

New Season Voice Actors

As the main cast, the animation will feature Jeffrey Wright (Westworld) who will play the protagonist of the animation: The Watcher!. Other names that are big names in dubbing will be Haylley Atwell (Peggy Carter), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Josh Brolin (Thanos) Tom Hiddleston (Loki). The first season featured Chadwick Boseman at Marvel.
