Brad Pitt gives up custody of his children; understand the decision

Apparently, the conflict between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie over custody of their children ends today. This is because according to information from the Daily Mail website, Brad had given up custody of his teenage children with the actress. The source, who revealed the information to the website, would have been a person close to the couple, who reported that the actor chose to give up primary custody and one of the reasons would be that half of his children had already reached the age of majority.

In total, the family is made up of eight members, six of whom are the couple's children: Vivienne and Knox aged 15, Shiloh aged 17, Zahara aged 19, Pax aged 20 and Maddox aged 22. Due to their age, Maddox, Pax and Zahara are no longer part of the custody.

Another point that has been raised on the internet in recent years is that the actor does not have a good relationship with his older children and that he does not speak to some of them.

Shiloh, the couple's daughter, decides to live with Brad

With everything that's going on, actress Angelina Jolie didn't really approve of the fact that her daughter Shiloh, 17, decided to go live with her father, but she decided to respect the teenager's decision. The couple's daughter decided to make this decision due to turning 18 and wanting to “shake up” her life.

Even though she was sad about her daughter's decision to go live with her father, Jolie understood the young woman and revealed to In Touch magazine that she now knows how to make her own decisions. “Shiloh is already a woman capable of making her own decisions”said the actress.

Reason for the separation of the actors

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are Hollywood actors and great protagonists of successful films. In the 2000s, both were heavily speculated by the media and fans.

Together since 2004, after 10 years of relationship, they decided to make their relationship official. However, in 2016 they surprised the world by announcing their separation, claiming at the time, “irreconcilable differences”.

A separation filled with controversies and legal proceedings that led to a long divorce. At the time, sources stated that Angelina did not agree with the way the actor was dealing with his children and that he had problems with alcohol. All of this led to the couple filing for divorce and separating.
