Charli XCX confirms coming to Brazil for exclusive show

This Monday (25), British singer and songwriter Charli XCX confirmed on her official Instagram profile that she will come to Brazil later this year for an exclusive show. The event named “PARTYGIRL” will take place in São Paulo, at the ZIG Studio nightclub exclusively on June 22nd. The presentation will be in the form of a “DJ Set” in which the artist will perform her songs in remixed versions.

The new album

In February this year, Charli released the song “Von Dutch”, the first track from her new project “BRAT”, which is the singer's first album since ending her contract with Warner Music.

The clip was recorded at an airport in Paris, France. On YouTube Music, the song already has almost 3 million plays and on Spotify, more than 13 million. The track also got a remix version, with the collaboration of dancer and actress Addison Rae and producer AG Cook.

The next release will be a continuation of “CRASH”, released in 2022. According to CNN Brasil, “(the new album) promises to be an exciting club record built around artistic references and social commentary.“

THE “PARTYGIRL”

In addition to São Paulo, Charli will also take “PARTYGIRL” to Mexico City and London. The cities of Barcelona, ​​New York, Chicago and Los Angeles will host the singer's live show.

Tickets for the event, which cost R$450 for a full ticket and R$225 for a half in the second batch, were already sold out early this afternoon. Sales took place through the Ticketmarket Brasil platform. There is no confirmed date for a new sales opening or new dates for the presentation.
